The Independents Single Adult Ministry

This SINGLES group offers a caring fellowship, social activities, and many opportunities for spiritual and personal growth. The Independents is the single adult ministry of First United Methodist Church of Blue Springs, Missouri.  

On Sunday, many singles attend the 9:15 contemporary worship service in the church sanctuary. Even more come to our Singles Class in room 112 at 10:30 for structured programming and discussion. Singles from any denomination are welcome. Join us to go out for lunch after class!  

Throughout the week, The Independents sponsor various activities such as dinners, movie nights, volleyball, pickleball, dances, game nights, plays, concerts, and trips.  

The Independents group offers scholarships for children of single parents and for single adults. This singles group serves the community through volunteer and mission projects.
