Newsletter 

The Single Adult Ministry of the First United Methodist Church-Blue Springs, a.k.a. The Independents offers a strong, caring fellowship and many opportunities for spiritual & personal growth, as well as social activities and fun fitness times. Sunday, many attend the 9:15 contemporary worship service. Still more come to the 10:30 ‘Gathering’ as it is called in room 112 for Single Adult Support/Discussion. We have social time before and after the structured programming. Singles of Any Denomination Are Welcome. Join those who go out to lunch after class.

During the week, we sponsor various activities such as dinners at local restaurants, movie nights, hikes, bike rides, Tuesday night volleyball, Wednesday night Divorce Recovery & Grief Support classes and dances. The Independents group sponsors scholarships for children of single parents and participates in many volunteer and mission projects. Hope you can join us!

Singles Adults meet at 10:30 a.m., in Room 112 for introductions and announcements.
At 10:55 two groups of discussion begin.

Enjoy Dinner at a local restaurant after the Singles' Discussion.
