Do you think spaghetti is a finger food? Do you sleep "like a baby?"
up at 12, 2 and 4? Do you write your grocery list in crayon? Do you
say "bye-bye" to everyone? If your answer is "Yes!" then be aware,
you may have MOPS Syndrome! and you must be a Mother of a Preschooler.
Need a sure cure? Attend a MOPS meeting! (relief is usually immediate!)
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers. MOPS International exists to meet the
needs of all moms who share a similar desire to be the very best mothers they can
be! MOPS recognizes that the years from infancy to Kindergarten (birth to 6 years)
are foundational in a mother-child relationship and are filled with unique needs.
The years of raising preschoolers offer that odd combination of pure fulfillment and utter
frustration! In this high stress period of a mother's life, she goes through a wide range
of emotions: joy, excitement, isolation, loneliness and exhaustion! These feelings can
occur especially with relocation, job changes, and becoming a first-time mom. What's a
mother to do? Come to a MOPS meeting!
